About Me
l'm a high school science teacher, wife, mom and grandma. I have a passion for travel that has taken me many places around the world. Home is West-Central Indiana, USA. I am a self-described foodie and coffee enthusiast. In this blog I'll be describing the daily routine of myself, my husband, and nephew as we walk the 800km Camino Frances. I'm hoping to have a blog entry at least weekly. I hope that your enjoy reading about our journey as it unfolds. The Camino Frances begins traditionally in St Jean Pied-de-Port, continues over the Pyrenees Mountains into Spain, then travels through northern Spain to Santiago de Compostella, the traditional resting place of the Apostle James. Our plan is to continue walking once Santiago is reached, to Finisterre, or "Ends of the Earth" the westernmost point in continental Europe.
